Choose to go before sunrise or sunset, this park has a surreal hike that isn't exactly typical: you can drive yes DRIVE to the top of the crater, then hike down as far as you like and back up. Wear warm clothes!

This is an amazing place to visit when you realize this forest of trees is all one tree.  One amazing tree having roots that have grown others as the roots reach downward to plant. A marvel of Mother Nature.  If you are in Lahaina Town make this a place to stop. A great spot to grab shaved ice and just chill. Ryan loves this tree.
